The Inland Empire covers over 4,800 square miles of beautiful Southern California, and boasts one of the strongest housing markets in the country (despite national economic difficulties). The northern corridor — from the Pomona Valley through San Bernardino and down to Riverside — is home to hundreds of thousands of families living, working, and playing.

With summer temperatures averaging in the triple digits and winter temperatures rarely even needing a hoodie, energy use is a big deal in the Inland Empire. More at-home energy use due to distancing, coupled with constantly rising rates from SoCal Edison, mean that solar panels are more desirable than ever. Luckily, prices on panels are falling and Sungevity is here to design, install, and monitor home solar systems for the Inland Empire!

Why You Should Consider Inland Empire Solar Financing?

Solar financing is the most common way of paying for solar installation in Inland Empire. When you finance your Inland Empire solar installation a third-party company finances the loan. What are the advantages of financing solar?

Affordable monthly solar payments in Inland Empire.
Possible Federal and state tax incentives.
Depending on your financing terms and energy usage, your loan payment plus remaining electric bill could be less than your previous Inland Empire electricity bill.
24/7 monitoring and 20-year system warranty.

What Are The Advantages of Leasing a Inland Empire Solar System?

Leasing a solar energy system in Inland Empire is an excellent option. What are the benefits of leasing a solar energy system?

Minimal upfront cost -- in some cases, nothing at all -- and an affordable monthly amount to the lease provider.
Custom Inland Empire solar design so the total of your lease payment plus remaining power bill is less in total than your previous electric bill.
System performance is guaranteed for 20 years. If your Inland Empire system produces less than we estimate, we’ll pay the difference.
There’s no need to feel tied down, either. If you sell your Inland Empire home, Sungevity will help transfer the solar lease to the new homeowner.

Inland Empire Solar Purchase Agreement (PPA)

A solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a contract to buy Inland Empire solar power based on a set rate for the electricity the solar system produces. With a Power Purchase Agreement, a Sungevity finance partner owns, installs, and maintains the (city name) solar system on your roof -- just like a solar lease. Unlike a solar lease, you pay for the solar power you produce rather than the panels themselves.

Inland Empire Solar FAQ's

What are my payments?

We offer a number of Inland Empire payment options for those who qualify, including a $0 money down solar lease, a pre-paid lease, fixed payment lease, and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Note that financing options differ by location and credit history. After we have consulted with you about your current (and future) $city_name energy use, we use our remote proprietary design tool to engineer a custom solar solution for your home. We use handpicked, local solar experts to install your solar system.

What happens after I sign up to go solar with Sungevity?

After you sign up, we will start working on getting your Inland Empire solar system up and running by scheduling a home visit with one of our excellent local installers. We will also handle the permits and other paperwork for you. After installation, we provide monitoring tools so you can track your system’s production.

What if my system generates more electricity than I use?

Depending on your Inland Empire utility, you may get a credit for this excess production. The additional electricity your system produces flows back into the grid and runs your meter backwards, earning you credits. Then, when it is dark, you draw electricity back from the grid.
